The Mountain Words Festival brings literature, storytelling, culture, and new ideas to the Gunnison Valley each May. The Festival gathers writers and readers from all around the world to challenge our assumptions, broaden our perspectives, and create a vibrant space for storytelling, intellectual curiosity, creative expression, and new thinking.
As a non-profit organization, contributions from supporters are essential to our ability to continue the important work of uniting communities through the power of storytelling while keeping the Festival open and accessible to all communities.
